It’s partway between toy and game at the moment. You make brushstrokes with your mouse (or tablet, if you’re lucky) and the speed and length of the brushstroke generates a creature. Different creatures will behave in different ways and at the moment, the goal is just to create a sustainable ecosystem from the various organisms. I like the style of ink on paper, even if its really hard to replicate so I’m going to try and stick with that.
So updates will be further delayed. Mainly because I only have intermittent 3g and have yet to find any wifi I can leech. I’ll try and get some screens up of my current distraction when I can.
You just have to accept defeat. Or maybe not defeat, really, but at the very least a hitch in the plans. My super ultra secret project that I’ve been working on (avoiding, really) has been put on hiatus due to the major design flaw of me not liking it any more. Since I made something that’s kind of interesting that was going to be the core of the game, I’m putting that up but the rest will stay hidden till I either think of better gameplay or suddenly stop disliking the old idea. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to tell me in the comments. Check it out on the current work page.

P.S. It goes well with Coldplay.
Because I only meant to have it down for a little while while I worked on this new project then re-release it with new graphics. But! the current project is taking too long so Phyta is back in it’s original incarnation. Get it here.
